Chocolate Bliss Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unroasted cashew nuts
  • 10-12 pitted dates (soaked in hot water for 10 mins and drained)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch salt
  • Desiccated coconut (optional)

Preparation

  1. Place cashew nuts in a food processor and pulse into a fine meal
  2. Add remaining ingredients and pulse again until well combined
  3. Roll about 1/2 tbsp of the mixture into a ball with your hands and roll in to the desiccated coconut (if using)
  4. Chill for at least 1 hour until ready to eat
